Watch our money-minded meetup for vintage and secondhand sellers
Profit doesn't have to be a mystery or a dirty word. In this candid, seller-led session, members of the Vintage Sellers Community gathered for a focused conversation on what it actually takes to turn a profit as a vintage seller.
From pricing philosophies to revenue tracking habits, this workshop cracked open the books (figuratively) and got real about what works and how to build a financially sustainable shop.
Longtime seller and business development consultant Carina Fato (UnVaulted Vintage, Dormito Linen Designs) and fashion-focused vintage seller Porschia Thomas (French Toast Vintage) helped lead the discussion, representing two very different but equally successful approaches to making money in vintage.

Together, they covered how they think about sourcing, how they set prices, how they track revenue and profit, and how their models have shifted over time.
Then, the conversation opened up into a roundtable, with attendees weighing in on the challenges and roadblocks they’re currently facing around pricing, profitability and mindset.
If you've ever wanted to peek into someone else's spreadsheet, or at least understand the thinking behind the numbers, this session is a must-watch.
