The Vintage Seeker is making a pivot — and we want to hear from you!
The Vintage Seeker is evolving. Over the past few years, my contributors and I have celebrated vintage and secondhand and the people behind it, and it has been an incredible joy. But it’s clear the market needs more than inspiration.
Independent vendors and buyers alike need space for more conversation on topics affecting this space. Value, access, sustainability, rising rents, taxes, tariffs, AI disruption, poor-quality products entering thrift stores and the supply chain, the tipping point of vintage availability, and so much more. Not just conversation, but action.
That’s why I'm pivoting to focus on insight and advocacy to the public, media and government, alongside my core resource that helps buyers and sellers connect — the Shop Secondhand Directory.
Whether you are seeking resources, commentary, representation on larger issues, or shops and services you can support, The Vintage Seeker is here for you.
I'll still publish the thoughtful content you've come to enjoy, but will be in your inbox a little less often as I work on bigger things.
My goal is to bring clarity to the issues shaping our market, amplify the voices of buyers and sellers, and help push for changes that strengthen the entire community. I am grateful to our members whose contributions help me to do this work.

But first, I need to hear from you.
This quick survey will help me understand the frustrations you want addressed, and the opportunities you see for the future of secondhand, vintage and antique buying and selling, and related services.
Your answers will directly inform how we advocate and what insights we provide.
Thank you for being part of this next chapter. Together, we can make the secondhand market stronger, smarter, and more sustainable.
With gratitude,
Kristina
